Jarvis Island is an uninhabited island located in the South Pacific Ocean about halfway between Hawaii and the Cook Islands. Jarvis Island is known as Bunker Island and famous for its wreck of barquentine Amaranth and is currently a National Wildlife Refuge.

Jarvis Island is primarily a nesting, roosting and foraging habitat for seabirds, shorebirds and marine wildlife.
