The Åland Islands is an autonomous Swedish-speaking region of Finland located in the Gulf of Bothnia in the Baltic Sea. The archipelago consists of around 80 inhabited islands plus around 6.000 uninhabited islands, islets and rocks. High season runs from June till early August.
