About Bassas da India

Bassas da India is an uninhabited atoll located in the Southern Mozambique Channel about halfway between Mozambique and Madagascar. Bassas da India is known for being an ideal diving spot with nearly 100 shipwrecks and its fishing. High season runs from May till September.

Where To Go

You can visit Bassas Da India by boat, however a permit from the French Government is required.
