Bhutan means "Land of the Thunder Dragon" and is located in South Asia situated at the Eastern end of the Himalayas and bordered by China. Bhutan is known for its stunning scenery with farmlands, apple orchards, pristine rivers and snow-capped mountains. High season runs from March till May and from September till November.

The most popular things to do in Bhutan are: visit the Paro Valley with some of the oldest temples of Bhutan, Thimpu Valley stationed at an altitude of 2.300 meter, Bhutanese forts or Dzong in Mongar, Lhuendrup Dzong in Lhuntse which is one of the most ancient monuments of Bhutan and Jigme Dorji National Park.
